Nick Otieno is the Co-founder of Center for Sports Law is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Sports Lawyer based in Nairobi Kenya; He has become renowned in the fields of policy making, e-commerce related issues such as contract formation and electronic data and in litigation and debt recovery in cases where disputes arise after arbitrary termination of player contracts, he advises clients in the wider sporting industry.
Such guidance has included advice on business matters in the area of sport, regulatory and disciplinary issues and has particular experience advising on corruption and selection disputes.
He has made contributions to the African Sports Law and Business Bulletin Journal Issue 1/2013 and presents at conferences on the topic of sports law. Nick works with lawyers and organizations to create accessible legal content develop marketing strategies and provide training on investments avenues for players.
Prior to Co- founding Center for Sports Law, Nick has worked for some of the leading law firms and Banks including Sheth & Wathigo Advocates, Kinyanjui Njuguna & Company Advocates and I & M Bank Ltd.
